CTC featured in JAMA publication!
Since 2003, our community has participated in the Community Youth Development Study (CYDS), a longitudinal study of the effectiveness of the Communities That Care system. This research study is being conducted by the University of Washington’s Social Development Research Group and is funded by several federal agencies including the National Institutes on Drug Abuse.
Preliminary results from the CYDS were recently published in the Journal of the American Medical Association’s Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. The paper can be accessed on their website, or download from our archives.
